“My music reflects what I love about Hawai’i: The people, the mountains, the winds, rains, and rolling surf. This is the soundtrack for a way of life in which relationships are valued and nature is revered. Hawaiian music is fun, soulful, poignant, and elegantly straightforward. It paints a beautiful sonic picture that relies on heart and soul for interpretation. It’s been a gift to me and I love to share it.”

— Doug Fitch

From lush, languid, lilting tropical sounds, to fast, furious, frenetic guitar picking, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Doug Fitch performs on traditional slack-key guitar and ’ukulele, and sings original and Hawaiian music with skill and passion. A performing musician since age 8, Doug is also known for his down-home folk and country style that reflects his small-town Colorado roots.

The year 2013 was a big one for Doug and his musical endeavors. His newest album, “Believe in Love,” received two Grammy nominations. Two of Doug’s albums were also selected to be part of a unique arrangement with Hawai‘i Walgreens stores; Walgreens featured Doug’s CDs in their stores and also sponsors live promotional performances by Doug. Currently, in addition to performing at weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and other special events throughout Hawai‘i, Doug is spending time in the recording studio working on his fifth album.
